Kapesovo is 43km away from Ioannina and is amphitheatrically located at the edge of Mesaria, at an altitude of 1100 meters. The visitor can see the big stone houses of the village and visit the church of Aghios Nikolaos (1793). Also interesting are: the library, the Folk Art Museum (Paschalios School) and the Cultural Center. Not far away, stone steps lead to Vradeto. You should also visit “Sterna”, a small shop that serves coffee, homemade preserves and where you can also buy herbs that the owners themselves collect from the mountain.
